Is 41:10; 43:1-3 now (to :), 4 (to :), 5,6,10,11 (to ;)

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour:

Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee:

Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;

I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

I, even I, am the Lord;

Section I

( 1) Ps 46:10 (to :)

Be still, and know that I am God:

( 2) Ex 3:1-8 (to ;), 10,13,14

Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb. And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God. And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey;

Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.

And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

( 3) Deut 6:4,5

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

( 4) Ps 145:4,5,8 (to ;), 9

One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.

The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion;

The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

( 5) Is 43:12 ye

ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God.

( 1) 587:5

GOD. The great I AM; the all-knowing, all-seeing, all-acting, all-wise, all-loving, and eternal; Principle; Mind; Soul; Spirit; Life; Truth; Love; all substance; intelligence.

( 2) 275:6-14

The starting-point of divine Science is that God, Spirit, is All-in-all, and that there is no other might nor Mind, that God is Love, and therefore He is divine Principle.

To grasp the reality and order of being in its Science, you must begin by reckoning God as the divine Principle of all that really is. Spirit, Life, Truth, Love, combine as one, and are the Scriptural names for God.

( 3) 200:4

Moses advanced a nation to the worship of God in Spirit instead of matter, and illustrated the grand human capacities of being bestowed by immortal Mind.

( 4) 256:12-18

"Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord."

The everlasting I AM is not bounded nor compressed within the narrow limits of physical humanity, nor can He be understood aright through mortal concepts. The precise form of God must be of small importance in comparison with the sublime question, What is infinite Mind or divine Love?

( 5) 340:12-17

Divine Love is infinite. Therefore all that really exists is in and of God, and manifests His love.

"Thou shalt have no other gods before me." (Exodus xx. 3.) The First Commandment is my favorite text. It demonstrates Christian Science.

Section II

( 6) Ex 3:15

And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

( 7) Is 45:5,6 (to 1st .), 18 (to :), 22

I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me.

For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited:

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

( 8) Deut 33:27 (to :)

The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms:

( 6) 414:21-22

The Scripture declares, "The Lord He is God [good]; there is none else beside Him."

( 7) 330:11-12

I. God is infinite, the only Life, substance, Spirit, or Soul, the only intelligence of the universe, including man.

( 8) 310:10

God is His own infinite Mind, and expresses all.

( 9) 336:1-12, 14-16, 19 (only)

Mind is the I AM, or infinity. Mind never enters the finite. Intelligence never passes into non-intelligence, or matter. Good never enters into evil, the unlimited into the limited, the eternal into the temporal, nor the immortal into mortality. The divine Ego, or individuality, is reflected in all spiritual individuality from the infinitesimal to the infinite.

XXII. Immortal man was and is God's image or idea, even the infinite expression of infinite Mind, and immortal man is coexistent and coeternal with that Mind.

The spiritual man's consciousness and individuality are reflections of God. They are the emanations of Him who is Life, Truth, and Love.

XXIII. God is indivisible.

(10) 6:17-18

"God is Love." More than this we cannot ask, higher we cannot look, farther we cannot go.

Section III

( 9) Mal 3:6 I am (to ;)

I am the Lord, I change not;

(10) Eccl 3:14 (to 2nd :), 15 (to 2nd ;)

I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it:

That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been;

(11) Jer 29:11-13

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

(12) Jer 31:3 Yea

Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

(13) James 1:17

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

(11) 140:25-27

The Christian Science God is universal, eternal, divine Love, which changeth not and causeth no evil, disease, nor death.

(12) 330:19

II. God is what the Scriptures declare Him to be, Life, Truth, Love. Spirit is divine Principle, and divine Principle is Love, and Love is Mind, and Mind is not both good and bad, for God is Mind; therefore there is in reality one Mind only, because there is one God.

(13) 469:4

Life is divine Mind. Life is not limited. Death and finiteness are unknown to Life. If Life ever had a beginning, it would also have an ending.

(14) 550:20-21

If Life has any starting-point whatsoever, then the great I AM is a myth.

(15) 427:2-5

Life is the law of Soul, even the law of the spirit of Truth, and Soul is never without its representative.

(16) 120:4

Soul, or Spirit, is God, unchangeable and eternal; and man coexists with and reflects Soul, God, for man is God's image.

(17) 310:18 (only)

Soul changeth not.

Section IV

(14) Is 42:6-8 (to 2nd :)

I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. I am the Lord: that is my name:

(15) Is 66:13 (to ;)

As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you;

(16) I Tim 1:14

And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

(17) Luke 17:12-19

And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

(18) Matt 11:2-5

Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another? Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

(19) John 5:19 Verily, 20

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

(20) Matt 19:26 with God

with God all things are possible.

(18) 1:1-5

The prayer that reforms the sinner and heals the sick is an absolute faith that all things are possible to God, a spiritual understanding of Him, an unselfed love. Regardless of what another may say or think on this subject, I speak from experience.

(19) 203:7-8

If God were understood instead of being merely believed, this understanding would establish health.

(20) 26:28

Our Master taught no mere theory, doctrine, or belief. It was the divine Principle of all real being which he taught and practised. His proof of Christianity was no form or system of religion and worship, but Christian Science, working out the harmony of Life and Love. Jesus sent a message to John the Baptist, which was intended to prove beyond a question that the Christ had come: "Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached." In other words: Tell John what the demonstration of divine power is, and he will at once perceive that God is the power in the Messianic work.

(21) 231:7

What God cannot do, man need not attempt. If God heals not the sick, they are not healed, for no lesser power equals the infinite All-power; but God, Truth, Life, Love, does heal the sick through the prayer of the righteous.

(22) 495:1-3,14-20

God will heal the sick through man, whenever man is governed by God. Truth casts out error now as surely as it did nineteen centuries ago.

When the illusion of sickness or sin tempts you, cling steadfastly to God and His idea. Allow nothing but His likeness to abide in your thought. Let neither fear nor doubt overshadow your clear sense and calm trust, that the recognition of life harmonious as Life eternally is can destroy any painful sense of, or belief in, that which Life is not.

(23) 289:11,29-2 Spirit

Life and Life's idea, Truth and Truth's idea, never make men sick, sinful, or mortal.

Spirit and all things spiritual are the real and eternal.

Man is not the offspring of flesh, but of Spirit, of Life, not of matter. Because Life is God, Life must be eternal, self-existent. Life is the everlasting I AM, the Being who was and is and shall be, whom nothing can erase.

Section V

(21) Is 44:6

Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

(22) Zeph 3:17

The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

(23) Ps 65:5 O God, 6,11 (to ;)

O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea: Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power:

Thou crownest the year with thy goodness;

(24) Ps 66:1,2,5 (to :), 7 (to ;)

Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious.

Come and see the works of God:

He ruleth by his power for ever;

(25) Num 6:24-26

The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

(26) I Tim 1:17

Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

(24) 242:3-5

It is only a question of time when "they shall all know Me [God], from the least of them unto the greatest."

(25) 331:11-13, 16-25

V. The Scriptures imply that God is All-in-all. From this it follows that nothing possesses reality nor existence except the divine Mind and His ideas.

Everything in God's universe expresses Him.

VI. God is individual, incorporeal. He is divine Principle, Love, the universal cause, the only creator, and there is no other self-existence. He is all-inclusive, and is reflected by all that is real and eternal and by nothing else. He fills all space, and it is impossible to conceive of such omnipresence and individuality except as infinite Spirit or Mind. Hence all is Spirit and spiritual.

(26) 267:5-6,10

God is one. The allness of Deity is His oneness.

The great I AM made all "that was made." Hence man and the spiritual universe coexist with God.

(27) 275:20-23

Divine metaphysics, as revealed to spiritual understanding, shows clearly that all is Mind, and that Mind is God, omnipotence, omnipresence, omniscience, that is, all power, all presence, all Science.

(28) 506:10

Through divine Science, Spirit, God, unites understanding to eternal harmony. The calm and exalted thought or spiritual apprehension is at peace. Thus the dawn of ideas goes on, forming each successive stage of progress.

(29) 113:16

1. God is All-in-all.
